The 2025 Regional Development SA Summit, Strong Regions, Smart Growth, focused on positioning South Australia’s regions at the forefront of state growth discussions. The Summit emphasised the need for a fresh, deliberate approach to regional development—moving beyond reactive measures to proactively design a prosperous, competitive future.

Discussions highlighted the immense potential within the regions and underscored the importance of intentional action, collaboration, and a shared vision that prioritises economic complexity, innovation, and liveability. Ultimately, the Summit aimed to shift the perspective on regional development from a challenge to an opportunity that can significantly shape South Australia’s future, with RDSA committing to work with key partners to realise this vision.
